Local author, Iris Jones came to the library and talked about her new book "Growing Up Iris". She shared stories and insight regarding her experiences growing up as a bi-racial girl and her desire to develop the Racial Literacy Project. She also donated us several books that reflect characters and story lines from different cultural and racial perspectives to add to our collection.
